The Strengths Approach
"Everybody is an artist, everybody is creative. Everybody has something to give to the world." That was the philosophy I had when I began working with people. That was 4o years ago - and I was very idealistic. Now I am even more idealistic. During that time I have been fortunate to work with many different kinds of people. They have taught me that:
a) People can choose their attitude - their spirit.
b) People can choose to build on their strengths.
c) People can choose to set specific goals and work hard to achieve their picture of success.
Everybody can find activities in which they quickly achieve 7/10. The key is find those in which you can move to 10/10. And, if you want, find sponsors who will pay you for doing what you do best.
